# SAM, the Surface Agentic Marketer

SAM is the **S**urface **A**gentic **M**arketer. &#x2A;*Anything a person on your
team would open the Surface app to do, SAM does from Slack.** Pull the numbers,
find where the funnel leaks, draft the post, publish it, swap the thumbnail,
check where you show up in AI answers. Same account, same data, same
permissions. You ask in a channel instead of clicking through a dashboard.

## Two Things Worth Knowing [#two-things-worth-knowing]

**It writes short.** 60 words by default. Drafts, digests and scheduled posts
are exempt: ask it to *write* something and it writes the whole thing.

**It can't change anything without a click.** Every write waits behind an
Approve/Cancel card. Background jobs are read-only entirely. See
