# Campaign Agents

A campaign in Surface is **an audience, a message, a piece of work, and a
measured outcome**. Campaign Agents carry it from evidence to published.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Evidence">
    Read closed-won calls, CRM opportunities, ICP accounts and support tickets.
    Extract the claims buyers actually make, with the source behind each one.
    → [Evidence](/platform/campaign-agents/evidence)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Plan">
    Pick the claims worth a campaign, the audience to aim them at, and the
    outcome that will count as success.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Draft">
    Write it against your [Vault](/platform/vault/overview), so it uses your
    positioning, your proof and your voice.
    → [Content agent](/platform/campaign-agents/content-agent)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review">
    Every draft stops for a human. Approve, request changes, or edit and
    re-review. → [Review and publish](/platform/campaign-agents/review-and-publish)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Measure">
    Traffic, AI traffic sources, leads and meetings attach back to the page that
    produced them. → [Traffic analytics](/platform/traffic/analytics)
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Info>
  The last three steps are things you drive in the app: the
  [Competitor Agent](/platform/campaign-agents/competitor-agent) and
  [Artifacts](/platform/campaign-agents/artifacts) screens, and Traffic Analytics.
  The first two are planning, done with your FDE rather than on a screen. See
  [Evidence](/platform/campaign-agents/evidence).

## The Agents [#the-agents]

| Agent                                                        | What it does                                                                                       |
| ------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **[Evidence](/platform/campaign-agents/evidence)** | Turns closed-won calls, opportunities, ICP accounts and tickets into cited claims worth a campaign |
| **[Content](/platform/campaign-agents/content-agent)** | Drafts the piece from the Vault and the claim you picked |
| **[Competitor](/platform/campaign-agents/competitor-agent)** | Watches the competitors you name and tells you what changed and why it matters |

<Note>
  **Content is one agent inside Campaign Agents, not a separate product.** If you
  are looking for "Content & SEO Agents" from the website's Product menu, it is
  [the content agent](/platform/campaign-agents/content-agent) on this page.
</Note>

## What It Does Not Do [#what-it-does-not-do]

* **It does not publish on its own.** Everything material parks behind a
  [review step](/platform/campaign-agents/review-and-publish).
* **It does not check its own proof.** A claim carries the source it came from
  so a reviewer can go back to it, but nothing in the pipeline verifies that a
  number in a draft is true.
* **It is not a scheduler.** Publishing, scheduling and the asset library live in
  the CMS; the agent writes into it.
